Environmental behaviour
The environmental behavior tests examine how substances interact in the environment, degrade and potentially affect ecosystems. Properties such as water solubility, persistence, bioaccumulation and toxicity to organisms are evaluated. These scientifically based tests are essential to ensure the environmental compatibility of chemicals, pharmaceutical products and other substances and to fulfil regulatory requirements safely and reliably.
Our test portfolio for the following product groups:
Chemicals, agrochemicals, SVHC, biocides
- Abiotic degradation (hydrolysis v. pH) OECD 111
- Biodegradation: ready biodegradability OECD 301 B, C, D, F
- Activated sludge respiration inhibition test (O2 uptake) OECD 209
- Biodegradation in water and sediment screening test
- Aerobic and anaerobic transformation in soil OECD 307
- Aerobic and anaerobic transformation in aquatic sediment OECD 308
- Aerobic mineralisation in water OECD 309
- Fish bioaccumulation / bioaccumulation OECD 305
- Adsorption / desorption OECD 106
