ADME studies

ADME stands for absorption, distribution, metabolism and excretion and describes the main processes that a substance or pharmaceutical undergoes in the body. Pharmacokinetic studies that analyse these processes are of central importance in order to gain a scientifically sound understanding of the efficacy, safety or optimal dosage regimen of a drug and to meet regulatory requirements.
