REACH Regulation
The REACH regulation applies not only to all chemicals used in industrial processes, but also to those found in our everyday lives, e.g. in paints, cleaning agents, clothing, furniture and electrical appliances. The regulation therefore affects most companies in the European Economic Area (EEA).
REACH - Registration advice for manufacturers, importers, wholesalers, retailers and downstream users
A registration dossier must be submitted for each substance if it is manufactured or imported into the EU as such or in a preparation in a quantity of at least 1 tonne per year, if it is stored and placed on the market, or if it is handled in the course of an industrial or commercial activity.
A registration dossier must be submitted for substances in articles if:
- the substance is contained in these articles in a total quantity of more than 1 ton per year
- the substance is intentionally released under normal or reasonably foreseeable conditions of use
REACH Tests - GLP / non-GLP
The laboratory tests and toxicological studies required depend on the production or import volume of a substance for all its applications.
