REACH – Registration advice for manufacturers, importers, wholesalers, retailers and downstream users

A registration dossier must be submitted for each substance if it is manufactured or imported into the EU as such or in a preparation in a quantity of at least 1 tonne per year, if it is stored and placed on the market, or if it is handled in the course of an industrial or commercial activity. A registration dossier must be submitted for substances in articles if:

the substance is present in the product in a total quantity of more than 1 tonne per year
the substance is intentionally released under normal or reasonably foreseeable conditions of use
